Herman Bavinck Library aims:
1.) to provide books of Reformed theology that may equip the congregation of Gereja Reformed Injili Indonesia Bandung with the knowledge of the Scriptures, so that they may be rooted in the knowledge of God and His grace,
2.) to enrich the congregation of Gereja Reformed Injili Indonesia Bandung with books of great ideas of human civilization, so that they, being the light of the world, may be able to have intellectual-theological interaction with those great ideas and fulfill the cultural mandate given by God,
3.) to edify people in Bandung, in general, with the classics of human civilization, in order to foster the growth of Indonesian culture dan the flourishing of Indonesian civil society, as we believe that open and critical interaction with diverse human ideas throughout history is one of the most important keys for the flourishing of a society.
